Dusk Dances

2011 Gold Quill
Award of Excellence

Dusk Dances is a non-profit organization that performs modern and traditional dance in public parks. Shows are open to the public on a pay-what-you-can basis. The company had a good reputation but no awareness.

DNA created a brand and identity that leveraged the company’s most differentiating attribute – holding dance performances in parks. For the first time in their history, a brochure was created that carried the entire summer program which promoted and encouraged attendance at upcoming performances. Being cost conscious, DNA designed the brochures so that they could also function as posters.

With DNA’s help Dusk Dances attracted media attention, audience numbers grew by almost 60% and on-site contributions increased. For work that generated outstanding results, DNA earned the coveted International Gold Quill Award of Excellence.
